Strange Jappeings

My Great Great Grandmother passed away back in 93. I was always the one she favored most. When I heard that her health was failing I drove from Los Angeles to Santa Rosa, CA which was where she was staying at the time in a home near my mother. I layed next to her while she was still aware of what was going on and the last thing she said was that she loved me so much. The night that she passed I was sitting at her bedside in a chair with my hand holding her hand. I had looked away for a minute and all of a sudden my body went stiff, like I was being electrocuted but I could not move, a deep vibration type sound is all I heard and I was like that for about 3-5 seconds I'd guess. When I looked over afterwards she was gone. I think her spirit went through mine. It was an amazing feeling and I feel so happy that I was there with her and for her when she died. Has anyone ever had anything close to this happen?
